Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of SongToolbox. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. By using the site you agree to them.

The service

SongToolbox is a collection of online music tools: browser-side audio effects, an AI song extender, and text generators for prompts and lyrics. The service is provided as-is and as-available. We work to keep it fast and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or always online, and we may change, add or retire tools at any time.

Your audio, your responsibility

You may only process audio you have the rights to use — music you made, music you have a license for, or royalty-free material. Processing a track here does not give you any rights to it you didn't already have. You are responsible for how you use and share the results, including on platforms with their own copyright rules.

Acceptable use

• No processing or generating illegal content.
• No using the tools to infringe someone else's copyright or other rights.
• No attempting to disrupt, overload or reverse the service, or to bypass usage limits.

Pro subscription and billing

The Pro plan is billed by Creem, our merchant of record, on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that.

Refunds

If Pro isn't what you expected, email us within 7 days of your first charge and we'll refund it. After the first 7 days, charges for billing periods already started are non-refundable, but you can still cancel future renewals.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SongToolbox and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost data, lost profits, or issues caused by third-party platforms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, which for free users is zero.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
